Study in Netherland - HAN University is Accepting Applications for Scholarships in Netherlands 2024-25



Are you a student from a non-EU country? Are you seeking for bachelor's and master's scholarships? Applications are now open for the HAN University Scholarships in the Netherlands for 2024-25. HAN University, commonly known as HAN University of Applied Sciences, is one of the largest applied science universities in the Netherlands. You may be eligible for one of the HAN scholarships. The scholarship is being granted in partnership with the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science.
There are two categories of scholarships for bachelor's and master's students. One is the HAN NL Scholarship, while the other is the Honours Scholarship. Please be aware that this is not a fully sponsored scholarship. You may have to spend additional costs in the Netherlands. Types of Scholarships at HAN University for Bachelor, and Master Students

For Bachelor's Degree Program:
  • HAN NL Scholarship (formerly HAN Holland Scholarship):
  • Total of €12,500.
  • €2,500 in the first semester.
  • €2,500 in the second semester.
  • €2,500 per year for the next 3 years.
Honors Scholarship:
  • No separate application needed.
  • Awarded by the academic board based on first-year performance.
  • €2,500 starting in the 2nd year.
  • €2,500 each following year of study.
For Master's Degree Program:
  • HAN NL Scholarship:
  • €2,500 in the 1st semester.
  • €2,500 in the 2nd semester.
Honors Scholarship:
  • One-time payment of €2,500 in the 2nd semester.
Scholarship Requirement 
  • You are not a citizen of the EU/EEA.
  • You do not have a degree from a Dutch educational institution.
  • You have applied and been accepted into a full-time, English-taught degree program at HAN.
  • Proof of English language proficiency: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 90, or a Cambridge Certificate (CAE or CPE).
How to apply 
  1. Apply to and get accepted into a degree program at HAN University.
  2. Prepare your scholarship application, including:
  3. A motivation letter
  4. A short video of yourself (max. 3 minutes)
  5. Your CV
  6. Submit your application by October 19, 2024, for the February 2025 intake.
  7. Wait for the scholarship result.
  8. Accept the scholarship offer.
