Available Study Cycles
The Romanian government supports education across all major academic levels. It is important to note that, to promote the Romanian language, most Bachelor's and Master's programs are taught in Romanian. Students who do not speak the language are granted a free preparatory year to learn it.
- Bachelor’s Degree: Aimed at high school graduates; duration ranges from 3 to 6 years depending on the major.
- Master’s Degree: For undergraduate holders; programs last 1, 1.5, or 2 years and culminate in a dissertation.
- PhD (Doctoral) Degree: For postgraduates; lasting 3 to 5 years. Note: PhD applicants must obtain a written agreement from a Doctoral Tutor at their chosen university before applying.
- Tuition Fees: 100% of the academic costs are covered for the entire duration of the program.
- Accommodation: Scholars receive free housing in university dormitories (financed through the state budget).

Monthly Stipend: To assist with daily expenses, students receive:
- Undergraduates & Preparatory Year: 65 EUR
- Master’s Students: 75 EUR
- PhD Students: 85 EUR
- Nationality: You must be a citizen of a non-EU country.
- Academic Merit: You must have an average grade of at least 7 (seven) in the Romanian scoring system (equivalent to "Good") from your previous studies.
- Residency: You must not be a resident of Romania or a member of the diplomatic corps.
- Ineligible Fields: Scholarships are generally not awarded for Medicine, Dental Medicine, or Pharmacy.
