Fully Funded Government of Colombia Scholarships 2023-2024 for International Students for Masters and PhD

The Colombia Government Scholarship 2023-24 For Foreigners application period is now open. The Colombia Government Scholarship programme is open to applicants who are not Colombian citizens. On this scholarship, you can pursue a Master's, Specialisation, Doctorate, or Free Spanish Language. The ICETEX funds the Colombian Government Scholarship.

ICETEX is a Colombian government institution that promotes higher education and assists foreign citizens. The Scholarship will cover all applicants' Health Insurance, Medical, Tuition fees, Visa, Living Expenses, Monthly Support, Installation Expenses, and Books. This scholarship programme does not require IELTS.

Course Duration

1. Spanish Language Training6 months maximum
2. Specialization 18 months (three academic semesters)
3. Up to 24 months (4 academic semesters) for a master's degree
4. Doctorate 48 months (eight academic semesters)

Benefits 

1. The Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs covers the entire tuition fee as well as the health policy/medical insurance visa.

4. Costs that were not anticipated

Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates: Foreign citizens of any nationality are eligible to apply. The Scholarship is open to all students from countries other than Colombia.

1. Not being of Colombian origin
2. In Colombia, you must not be in a marital or de facto relationship.
3. You must be under the age of 50.
4. Possess a professional, undergraduate, or graduate degree in any field.
5. Applicants may apply for up to three different degree programmes.
6. The IELTS exam is not required.

Required Documents 

Applicants must also file a physical application with the Colombian government. The following documents are included with the application:

1. Academic Recommendation Letter
2. CV with Admission Letter from Colombian University
3. Furthermore, my Spanish Language Proficiency Score
4. Academic paper arguing the significance of your studies in Colombia
5. Notarized copies of academic transcripts are also available.
6. Similarly, a copy of the passport, a certificate of professional experience, and a health certificate are required.
