International students can apply for the University of Bologna's International Talents @Unibo Scholarship for the 2024-25 academic year. The University of Bologna is awarding 80 new scholarships to eligible overseas students pursuing a First Cycle Degree (Bachelor's), Second Cycle Degree (Master's), or Single Cycle Degree (combining undergraduate and postgraduate study).

The institution of Bologna is a public research institution. With approximately 90,000 students, the University of Bologna is one of Italy's oldest universities and one of Europe's largest. The International Talents @Unibo scholarships are worth €4,500 gross and include full tuition waiver. More details are provided below.

First and Single Cycle Degree Programs

For international students who are applying for the Bachelor's or combination degree program.
  1. Number of Scholarships: 15
  2. Publication of the call for applications: February 9, 2024.
  3. The deadline for submitting applications (complete with test results and evidence on the family's economic status) is May 31, 2024, at 12.00 CEST.
  4. The findings will be published in July 2024.
  5. The SAT is required.
Second Cycle Degree Programs
For International students who are applying for the master’s degree programs
  1. Number of scholarships: 56.
  2. Publication of the request for applications: January 11, 2024
  3. The deadline for submitting applications (complete with test results and evidence on the family's economic status) is April 30, 2024, at 12.00 CEST.
  4. Publication of results: June 2024.
  5. The GRE is required.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. These scholarships are offered based on academic achievement and proof of financial situation.
  2. The scholarship is offered for one academic year and is determined by SAT and GRE exam scores, as well as financial verification.
  3. The SAT is required for enrollment in a bachelor's degree program.
  4. If you wish to pursue a Master's degree, you must first complete the GRE.
  5. You must not be more than 30 years old on the closing date of the call for applications.
