Eligibility Criteria

  • Be an international student intending to study a coursework degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) at Deakin University.

  • Fulfil all entry requirements to study at Deakin University.

  • Have achieved a minimum of 85% average (or equivalent) in prior academic studies.

All listed criteria must be satisfied. Furthermore, competition is high and meeting the minimum requirement does not guarantee a scholarship, as final selection is based on merit and competitiveness.

Scholarship Benefits

Recipients of the Deakin Vice-Chancellor International Scholarship will receive:

  • Full tuition fee waiver or 50% tuition fee reduction for the entire duration of the selected program.

  • Participation in the Vice-Chancellor’s Professional Excellence Program (VCPEP).

  • Priority access to on-campus accommodation (accommodation costs are not included and are subject to availability).
