​Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the University of Twente Scholarship 2026, specific academic and administrative criteria must be met.

  • Admission: Applicants must first obtain an academic admission letter (provisional) for an eligible Master’s program starting in September 2026.
  • Nationality: You must be a citizen of a non-EU/EEA country. Dutch nationals and current UT students are not eligible.
  • Language Proficiency: A high standard of English is mandatory.
    • IELTS: Minimum overall score of 6.5 (with at least 6.0 in the speaking section).
    • TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 90 (with at least 20 in the speaking section).
  • Visa: Candidates must be able to comply with all Dutch visa and residence permit requirements.
