The Poland NAWA Banach Scholarships 2026 provide an outstanding opportunity for international students from developing countries to pursue a fully funded master’s degree in Europe. Officially known as the Prof. Stefan Banach Scholarship Programme, this initiative is administered by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This prestigious programme enables students from 37 eligible countries to study at public universities in Poland, starting from the 2026/27 academic year.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or be in their final semester
  • Have graduated no earlier than 2024
  • Not have previously received a NAWA scholarship
  • Not hold or be applying for Polish citizenship
  • Meet language requirements (English or Polish)
  • Apply simultaneously to a Polish university

Selection Criteria

  • Candidates are assessed based on:
  • Academic performance (up to 70 points)
  • Video self-presentation (1–3 minutes) – 30 points
  • Optional recommendation letter – 10 points

Minimum requirement:

  • 70 total points, including at least 50 from academic performance

Application Procedure

  • Choose a Study Programme : Select a master’s programme at a public university in Poland
  • Apply to the University : Submit a separate application directly to your chosen university
  • Submit NAWA Application : Apply through the official NAWA portal
